Hi, I'm Will

I’ve spent the last 25 years working with young people with social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH). I’ve been a special needs teacher, a school mental health counsellor, the head teacher of special needs schools for children with SEMH, I'm a BACP accredited psychotherapist and qualified SPACE provider.

I'm experienced in working with young people with a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, OCD, emotionally-based school avoidance (school refusal), depression and social difficulties. I've worked with young people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, and with neuro, gender and identity diversity. I work with children, teenagers, young people and their parents and my approach is to help young people build skills, discover what they care about, take action, experiment and learn from the world.

I trained in SPACE in 2020 with Dr Eli Lebowitz. I'm one of only a few providers in the UK to also be trained in using SPACE for ARFID and Failure to Launch. My SPACE work is supervised by the SPACE team at Yale.
